George P. Roland
| George
P. Roland is the senior Partner of Roland, Pennington & Trodden,
a Law Firm located in the heart of Hollywood, California, two blocks
east of the Mann's Chinese Theater, specializing in injuries, including
work and personal injuries, and also representing individuals in Social
Security, and Discrimination (FEHA and EEOC). After graduating from
U.C. Berkeley with a B.S. in Philosophy in 1970 and a short writing
career, he was admitted to the University of Denver College of Law,
where he was active in the Public Defender's office both as an investigator
as well as a "student attorney," also practicing civilly
with the Denver Legal Aid Clinic. Mr. Roland was admitted to the California
State Bar in 1975, practicing criminal, civil and Workers' Compensation
law, becoming a "Certified Specialist" in Workers' Compensation.
He is admitted to practice in California before the Federal and State
Courts, is a member in good standing of the California Applicant's
Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Beverly Hills Bar
Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA), Consumer
Trial Lawyers' Association (CTLA), Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Association
(LATLA), formerly Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association
(AAA), and was a Judge Pro-Tempore and Arbitrator in Workers' Compensation.
Mr. Roland was born in Paris, France, and speaks French, Hungarian,
as well as Spanish. |

Gregg A. Pennington
| Gregg
A. Pennington was admitted to the California bar in December, 1980
after graduating from Southwestern University School of Law in Los
Angeles, California. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Cal State
Northridge in 1977. From 1980 through 1987, Mr. Pennington engaged
in the practice of personal injury law on behalf of claimants. In
1987, he began working for George Roland and shortly thereafter formed
a partnership concentrating on Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation.
Mr. Pennington has practiced law continuously from 1980 to the present,
has jury trial and appellate experience in the civil field, along
with extensive Workers' Compensation experience in all areas of Workers'
Compensation law. He also handles Social Security appeals and disability
discrimination claims under the FEHA and EEOC. He is a member of the
Los Angeles County Bar Association and the California Applicant Attorneys'
Association (the organization of lawyers representing the interests
of the injured worker in California). He also serves as a mediator
and arbitrator through the Los Angeles Superior Court Alternate Dispute
Resolution Office. |

Christopher J. Trodden
| Christopher
Trodden is the newest partner at Roland, Pennington & Trodden.
He was admitted to the State Bar in 1993, after receiving his Juris
Doctorate in May of 1993 from Southwestern University School of Law
that same year. Mr. Trodden has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the
University of California at Irvine, and a Minor degree in Management
from University of California at Irvine. Since being admitted to the
Bar, Mr. Trodden has practiced civil litigation in the Superior Courts
and workers compensation claims before the Workers Compensation
Appeals Board. Mr. Trodden represents injured workers and their heirs,
as well as some employers whom he defends against workers compensation
claims. Mr. Trodden has prosecuted cases all the way from the Appeals
Board level, to the Supreme Court of California. Mr. Trodden also
represents disabled persons in Federal Social Security Disability
claims, and represents employees in certain Fair Employment and Housing
Act, or FEHA claims. Mr. Trodden is admitted to practice
law before all state courts in California, as well as the United States
District Court, Ninth Circuit. He is an active member of the Los Angeles
County Bar Association, California State Bar - Workers Compensation
Section, and the California Applicants Attorneys Association. |
